About this event
One of 50 upcoming events at Continuing Education Inc., and 8,402 across Tampa Bay.
This program provides a dual focus on contemporary clinical pharmacology and the practical application of radiology in primary care. Pharmacologist Dr. Tammie Lee Demler will present sessions on crucial topics, including strategies to avoid adverse drug events, pharmacologic approaches to common mental health disorders, and updates to the Beers Criteria for older adults. The radiology curriculum, led by Drs. Jason and Nilda Williams, is designed to enhance diagnostic decision-making, covering topics from choosing the right imaging study for abdominal pain to understanding minimally invasive interventional oncology treatments and interpreting common chest x-ray findings. You will leave equipped to better manage complex medication regimens and apply key principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology. Learning outcomes include identifying common chest x-ray findings, managing incidentalomas, and addressing the health impacts of loneliness and isolation. This program provides up to 14.00 credits for a variety of professions. The conference sessions are conveniently scheduled to complement our sailing aboard Icon of the Seas.
