About this event
One of 50 upcoming events at Continuing Education Inc., and 8,177 across Tampa Bay.
This program delivers a focused update on managing critically ill patients for the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Led by pulmonary and critical care experts Dr. Hayley Gershengorn and Dr. JT Tina Chen, the curriculum addresses pressing challenges in the ICU. Sessions explore the spectrum of critical illness, from acute respiratory distress and pulmonary emergencies to the systemic complexities of sepsis, shock, and multi-organ failure. The content is designed to enhance clinical decision-making and foster a collaborative approach to improving patient outcomes in high-acuity settings. Participants will gain current, evidence-based strategies for diagnosing and managing ARDS, applying non-invasive ventilation, and treating acute kidney and liver failure. The program also covers topics such as ECMO, cardiac arrest, and fluid responsiveness in shock. It offers up to 14.00 credits for the interprofessional team, providing a valuable opportunity to refresh your knowledge. Discuss complex cases with faculty and peers while sailing aboard Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas.
