About this event
One of 50 upcoming events at Continuing Education Inc., and 8,402 across Tampa Bay.
This program delivers practical, high-yield dermatology updates for the non-specialist, focusing on conditions commonly encountered in a primary care setting. Presented by expert faculty from the University of Mississippi Department of Dermatology—Drs. Robert Brodell, Stephen Helms, Jeremy Jackson, Amy Flischel, and Nancye McCowan—the curriculum is designed to enhance diagnostic confidence and therapeutic effectiveness. Sessions cover a wide range of presentations, from acne and eczema to skin cancers and dermatologic emergencies, strengthening your ability to provide comprehensive patient care. Through case-based discussions and an interactive faculty panel, you will learn to better differentiate benign from malignant conditions and select appropriate treatments. Among the sessions, Dr. Helms covers basic dermatologic procedures, Dr. Jackson discusses non-melanoma skin cancer, and Dr. Brodell reviews the deliberative biopsy. Discuss challenging cases with the faculty panel while sailing aboard the Norwegian Breakaway.
