Dermatology Update for Primary Care: 2027

This program provides primary care clinicians with a focused update on common dermatologic conditions. Led by dermatologists Dr. Robert Brodell and Dr. Stephen Helms, the curriculum is designed to sharpen diagnostic acumen and procedural confidence for issues frequently encountered in a general practice setting. Sessions cover a systematic approach to dermatologic diagnosis, differentiating benign from malignant lesions, managing inflammatory conditions like eczema, and recognizing infections such as scabies and superficial fungi. The faculty will also share practical insights on error prevention and oral diseases. Through this curriculum, you will be better equipped to perform basic dermatologic procedures, utilize diagnostic tools like the KOH preparation, and improve patient safety.
