About this event
One of 50 upcoming events at Continuing Education Inc., and 8,402 across Tampa Bay.
This program provides a dual focus on critical aspects of modern healthcare: managing chronic metabolic diseases and sustaining clinician well-being. Sessions will cover contemporary approaches to diabetes and obesity management, led by Dr. Tracey B. Long, including updates on the 2026 practice guidelines and diabetes technology. Concurrently, Dr. Gina Touch will lead a series on behavioral medicine, offering practical, evidence-based strategies for healthcare professionals to build resilience, prevent burnout, and cultivate professional flourishing in demanding clinical environments. Participants will learn to integrate behavioral techniques to improve both patient and personal outcomes, assess systemic factors contributing to burnout, and apply character strengths to enhance professional resilience. This course provides valuable insights for any clinician seeking to improve patient care in endocrinology while also investing in their own long-term career sustainability. The sessions are thoughtfully scheduled to complement our voyage aboard the Koningsdam.
