About this event
One of 50 upcoming events at Continuing Education Inc., and 8,402 across Tampa Bay.
This program provides an integrated curriculum focused on the intersection of primary care, cardiology, and mental health. Led by an expert faculty with distinct specialties—an interventional cardiologist, a family physician, and a clinical social worker—the sessions are designed to foster a team-based approach to patient care. Participants will explore the complex interplay between common medical and mental health problems, gaining valuable perspectives on collaborative treatment strategies for patients with challenging comorbidities. The curriculum delivers clinically relevant insights into a range of topics. Sessions include the management of acute coronary syndromes and heart failure with Dr. Jonathan Feig; addressing depression, obesity, and smoking cessation with Dr. Kevin Ferentz; and identifying and treating trauma with Lisa Ferentz, MSW. This conference offers up to 14.00 hours of continuing education credit. These focused learning sessions take place aboard Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas.
