About this event
One of 50 upcoming events at Continuing Education Inc., and 8,402 across Tampa Bay.
This program offers a unique educational opportunity, bridging two critical areas of patient care: women's mental health and sports medicine. The curriculum, led by Dr. Joseph Congeni, provides in-depth guidance on evaluating and managing common musculoskeletal injuries, with sessions covering RED-S, PPEs, and pediatric concerns. Concurrently, Dr. Laraine Zappert addresses key topics in women's mental health across the lifespan. Her sessions explore the biopsychosocial changes from pregnancy to menopause, the impact of trauma, and the management of eating and sleep disorders. Participants will leave prepared to apply updated evaluation techniques and better address mental health concerns in a diverse patient population. The curriculum provides practical, evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes across a range of clinical settings. These focused educational sessions are scheduled to complement our 9-night sailing aboard the Freedom of the Seas.
