“Feedback Loop”: Gallery Hours

See the finely tuned works of Eleven emerging artists after months of feedback Contracommon is proud to present Feedback Loop, an exhibition of new works from artists participating in our monthly critique group program. The exhibition will be on view in the gallery from August 22nd through September 17th, 2026. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, August 22nd from 4pm – 7pm; it is free and open to the public. The exhibition will include mixed media, painting, and sculptural works by participating artists who have met monthly throughout 2026: Bella Cheng, Marcus Delzell, Swathi Konduri, Claudia Kunz, Cat Martin, Emily Nunn, Sarah Risko, Garrett Skupinski, Karin Tuck Petersen, Emily Ward, and Jeff Worden. Current host and Contracommon member Forrest Aderholt says of the exhibition: “It’s going to be a very diverse and strong body of work.” This is Aderholt’s second year curating and organizing this type of group, from its first meeting to the completed exhibition. Contracommon has been hosting critique groups since 2020 as a way for artists to connect with each other and receive creative feedback during the initial Covid-19 lockdown. The group was initially hosted virtually, allowing artists from any location to participate. Since then our critique group, formerly known as “Friendly Feedback,” has been hosted both virtually and in-person at Contracommon’s headquarters in Bee Cave. Feedback Loop is the latest evolution of our critique group program: a collection of eleven artists meeting monthly from January to August 2026 creating new works from start to finish. Feedback Loop will be on view in the Contracommon gallery from August 22nd through September 17th, 2026. The gallery is open Friday through Sunday from 12pm – 6pm, with private viewing appointments available Monday - Thursday upon request at calendly.com/contracommon. The exhibition will open with a reception on Saturday, August 22nd from 4pm – 7pm; it is free and open to the public.
