CANCELLED - Presentation: Meet a Union Soldier!

CANCELLED (We hope to reschedule for the fall!) Former Civil War Re-enactor Rene Beauchesne will share his experience bringing a Union Soldier to life, and discuss his recent novel Valley of the Red Dog. The talk will be followed by a Q & A and a book signing. All ages welcome. No registration is required. About Valley of the Red Dog Set during the tumultuous time of the Civil War, a Confederate plot is hatched to change the course of the war, using a weapon of mass destruction. It falls to a team of Union agents led by one determined woman to stop it—and save the Union. About the Author Rene Beauchesne is a retired civil servant and army officer. He is married and has four children and two grandchildren. Holding a love of Civil War history since ten years old, Beauchesne has also been a reenactor for the 28th Mass Volunteer Infantry.
