About this event
One of 7 upcoming events at Daniel Boone Homestead.
Join the Daniel Boone Homestead Associates for their first annual Wreath Class with Heritage Art and Craft Studio. Discover the art of creating a stunning Williamsburg-inspired wreath, combining herbs with seasonal elements, perfect for enhancing your indoor or outdoor holiday decor. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to craft a beautiful, aromatic wreath. We will combine fresh, fragrant pine with natural and organic elements, harvested herbs, dried apple slices and ribbon on a 14-inch grapevine wreath. Beyond the wreath creation, participants will also gain knowledge about the process of growing, harvesting, and drying herbs, as well as gathering natural materials. Participants are welcome to follow our example or create their own unique arrangement. All materials are provided. Heritage Art and Craft Studio is co-owned by Greg Geesaman and Peggy Allen-Geesaman. For over fifty years, Greg has dedicated himself to the study of American History, as well as gardening, landscaping, agriculture, and environmental preservation. He shares his knowledge with others through educational seminars, classes, and workshops. Peggy, a native of Berks County, has dedicated over 30 years to teaching art and crafts. Before launching her own business in the 1990s, she worked in retail marketing. While she offers a wide range of classes, her true passion lies in Traditional American crafts. She stays informed of current historical trends as a member of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration (HSEAD). Registration is required for the workshop, and a form can be obtained by emailing us at [email protected]. Daniel Boone Homestead Associate Members $45 and Non-Members $50. All supplies are included. All proceeds go to support the Daniel Boone Homestead. Space is limited to 10 participants. Please register by November 8, 2026. This program is funded and provided by the Daniel Boone Homestead Associates.
