Wilderness Calling November: Night Noises and Owl Prowl

Come hear HOO’S HOO in Davidson at this year’s Owl Prowl. Join us on an evening forest walk with master naturalist, Rob Van Epps, longtime Davidson resident and former DLC board president. The night kicks off with a captivating talk about owls and other nocturnal creatures, followed by an exploration of the West Branch Nature Preserve woods. We’ll listen to see if we get lucky and hear the Hoo’s Hoo of Davidson owls — Great Horned, Barred, and Eastern Screech Owls…not to mention other after dark forest animal sounds.
