Star Wars: A New Hope — In Concert

The season closes the way it should: with the full film on the big screen and every note of John Williams' score played live. If you were with us for Jurassic Park last season, you know what this is. The moment the orchestra hits that opening fanfare and the crawl starts climbing — it lands differently when the sound is coming from the stage in front of you instead of a speaker on the wall. Williams' score is the reason the film works. The Force theme, the Cantina Band, Leia's theme, the trench run — this is the music that convinced a generation that orchestras were thrilling. Hearing it played live, in sync, frame by frame, is something else entirely. Don't miss it!
