Jr Naturalist: Tree Cookie Nametags

Saturday, July 18th, 2026 | 1-2:30pm Cedar Hat Classroom Free! The River Center is excited to invite all kids (ages 4-11 suggested) to our upcoming Jr Naturalist program: Tree Cookie Nametags! Ever wonder what goes on inside a tree? For this month’s event, we’ll investigate the anatomy of a tree by taking a look at the cross section of a tree and learning about their bark, wood, and rings. Then we’ll use tree cookies to craft our very own wooden nametags that you can use for camps throughout the summer! All supplies are provided! Please RSVP so we can ensure that we have enough supplies for everyone. $5 donation appreciated but not required.
