Discover the fascinating world of native bees! Join us this spring for a NEW three-part series designed to immerse you in nature while exploring the diverse and essential native bee populations of our region. Each month, you’ll venture into the field with bee specialist Ingrid Carmean and River Center educators to observe bees in their natural habitats and learn how you can help protect these vital pollinators. Beeee prepared to see them up close! Hand lens provided. Register Here Space is limited to 15 participants per walk. $15 DRNC Members $25 Non-Members Date/Time: July 11th | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Location: River Center / Marlyn Nelson County Park What to Expect: Each walk begins at the Dungeness River Nature Center before traveling to a featured field location in the community to search for native bee species.
