Berry Basket Workshop with Dona Nazarenko Saturday, July 25, 2026 10:00 – 5:00pm Join us in the Great Stone Dwelling dining room for a full day workshop! Berry baskets were traditionally hand woven of oak or ash. They were designed to hold individual servings of berries. A Berry Basket has many uses such as for the gardener, or hobbyist and they also make a great storage container. Participants will use natural reed, paired with a wood handle, and can choose to add color accents if desired. All skill levels welcome. This square basket measures approximately 6 ½” x 6 ½” x 11 ½” high with handle. Who is Doña Nazerenko? Residing in Tunbridge, Vermont, Doña Nazarenko has been weaving since 1988 and teaching since 1994. While living along the New Jersey coast, Doña developed an interest in woodcrafts and related art forms that developed into her desire to take basket making classes in 1988.
