Orange County CNPS Presents: Indigenous Basket Weaving

Join the Orange County Chapter of the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) for a hands-on basket weaving class with community educator Naomi Knox. Explore the traditional uses of California native plants, learn about the region's Indigenous heritage, and create a small basket to take home. Naomi Knox is a community educator and advocate for Indigenous history and culture. She shares knowledge of traditional native plant uses and serves as President of the Santa Ana Canyon Historical Council, promoting the preservation and appreciation of local history. This program is for adults.
