Stories by the Stream: Incredible Insects

September 19, 2026, 10:00 am – 12:00 pmENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary Gather by the stream for Stories by the Stream, a monthly family program that blends storytelling, wildlife encounters, and creative exploration at ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary. In September, we’ll discover the fascinating world of Incredible Insects! Julie will read Eliza and the Dragonfly, a story that introduces young nature lovers to the remarkable life of a dragonfly. After the story, families will head out to explore the sanctuary in search of insects and discover some of the important jobs they do—from pollinating flowers and recycling nutrients to providing food for other wildlife. Recommended for ages 3 and up. Families are encouraged to dress for outdoor exploration and bring water and curiosity. Registration Policy: Please be sure to check your calendar before registering. Program planning, staffing, and materials are prepared in advance, and registration fees directly support the Environmental Nature Center's mission. For this reason, all registrations are final and non-refundable.
