Myth Busting History with Blythe

Are you curious, clever, and/or a little kooky? Are you interested in answering the essential questions about life and history, such as: Were women REALLY fainting all the time from their corsets? Were there witches working for the Allied Powers in WWII? and How did people keep clean before showers? If you answered "yes" to either of those questions, then this new program from QPL's Older Adult Services is for you! If you're interested in the niche side of history, or just interested in learning something new, join us every month for Myth Busting History! Participants will learn about and engage in interesting conversations about history, debunk long-held beliefs, and examine why they exist in the first place. And, if you have something strange from history that you'd like to know more about, we are always looking for more myths to bust!
