TOUCH GRASS

Touch Grass is an interactive puppet play that invites the audience to explore the parks as spaces for connection to nature, self, and community. Co-directed by Coya Paz and Sivan Spector, Touch Grass features large scale puppets and “move at your own pace” installations. Touch Grass is presented in English and Español, and is appropriate for all ages.  With its short run time, Touch Grass is a perfect performance for those with small children or busy folks who need a break from the fast pace of Chicago summers. The puppet performance is 10 minutes long and presented at the top and bottom of the hour, and participants are invited to rediscover their whimsy as they move at their own pace through a series of interactive installations, sharing their own stories (think tree chisme!), and explore efforts to remediate polluted areas of the city.
