National School Librarians Day

School librarians do far more than manage books — they help students discover new interests, build confidence as readers, and feel at home in their school community. Today we celebrate the librarians who greet every child with curiosity, encouragement, and a genuine love of learning. Their work strengthens classrooms, supports teachers, and creates welcoming spaces where every student can grow. Because April 4 falls on a weekend, many schools celebrate earlier in the week or throughout the entire month.
