GO ART! to Host Safe Zone Training and LGBTQ+ Allyship Workshop on June 15 will host a comprehensive Safe Zone Training on June 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., designed to help participants build more inclusive, respectful, and affirming workplaces, organizations, and community spaces. The training will focus primarily on LGBTQ+ education, allyship, and Safe Zone practices, while also incorporating broader conversations surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, respectful communication, and creating welcoming environments for all people. The workshop will be facilitated by Gregory Hallock, official SafeZone Train-the-Trainer certification holder. Participants will engage in guided discussion, interactive activities, and practical scenarios intended to strengthen understanding, empathy, and effective allyship skills in professional and community settings. A light pastry breakfast with coffee and juice will be provided, along with lunch during the training. Registration Rates $50 per person for employees and volunteers registering through nonprofit organizations $150 per person for individuals and businesses Groups of 5 or more: $125 per person Groups of 10 or more: $100 per person This training is intended for individuals who genuinely wish to participate in creating respectful and inclusive spaces. Organizers emphasize that the workshop is designed for those who are open to learning, supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals, and interested in active allyship.
