Join DSQO and local zine artist M for a free educational and hands-on workshop about a grassroots artform: zine-making! Learn about the history of zines and the role zines play as a revolutionary tool for sharing information and art in an accessible form. We will provide materials for you to create your own zine! Your creation could be featured in a community anthology!
This workshop is presented by Dallas Social Queer Organization (DSQO) and led by @eucalyptusseason. It will take place in the Goldmark Cultural Center’s Auditorium on Tuesday 7/28, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
This workshop is part of the We Are The Rainbow project, an event series amplifying and celebrating queer voiced and art. We Are The Rainbow is supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
