From major art museum exhibits to murals and fashion trends, Basquiat’s audacious legacy continues to be shaped and preserved by the public—but what about the person behind the mythical persona? Nearly four decades after his untimely death, Basquiat’s sisters Lisane and Jeanine embark on a disarmingly intimate journey into his life.
