Foundational Motivational Interviewing (Virtual)

Realizing that attention spans are not the same on a screen as they are in person, we have adapted our trainings to allow for a highly interactive, effective learning to our current logistical circumstances. This training will take place over four three-hour sessions to learn the fundamental spirit, structure, and skills of Motivational Interviewing and then work with questions and issues that arise as you begin implementing Motivational Interviewing in your practice and life. Alexandra Heinz will be leading this workshop online via the Zoom video-conferencing platform. From Alex's recent trainings: I was able to immediately incorporate MI into work with several clients. I'm not ambivalent about the training - having been in the field for decades it's difficult to find something new and useful, so it was great for me. The concepts of the training were well presented and presenter did a wonderful job including everyone within the training. It was amazing to see Alex seamlessly apply the concepts throughout the course because it really helped the concepts stick.
