In this workshop, you’ll design a repeating pattern that fits together seamlessly, then use a carving tool to transfer and carve it into a soft, easy-to-cut block. Prints are created by adding ink to the block and pressing it onto paper—similar to a stamp. Because your design tessellates, you can repeat it across the page to build intricate patterns.
