Nothing says The Holidays like baking – both sweet and savory. In this demonstration class Chef Miriam will share recipes perfect for entertaining during the holidays at home or taking to a holiday party. The Potato Galette is perfect for brunch or a light supper, perhaps served with a refreshing fall/winter salad with toasted pecans and sliced ripe pears. With citrus back in season Orange Pound Cake is just the thing to give as a holiday gift or to serve after dinner. This cake travels beautifully and is a good keeper. Finally, Sticky Toffee Pudding ticks all the boxes for a delectable dessert after a holiday dinner: it’s ooey, gooey and oh so delicious. With a dollop of rum whipped cream and a strong espresso, your guests will swoon. Menu to include: Potato Galette with Caramelized Onions Orange Pound Cake with Sweet Orange Segments Sticky Toffee Pudding with Rum Whipped Cream This demonstration class (plus lunch!) is limited to ten people.
