May 18th 2026 is the date for a this year’s Heritage Roundtable’s Archaeology & Historic Preservation Month Awards Ceremony, aka the “Square Nail Awards.” The Square Nail Awards are presented each spring by the City of Boulder, Boulder County, and the Boulder Heritage Roundtable to individuals and groups who have made special contributions to historic preservation in Boulder County in the past year. The location for this event is the Chautauqua Community House, 900 Baseline Rd, Boulder, CO 80302. Refreshments will be served at 6:00 PM MST and the Awards Ceremony starts at 6:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public. May is Preservation Month!
