, Mark your calendars for the last Saturday of every month! May through November, the Green-House is opening its classroom space for free, drop-in fun for visitors of all ages. Expect two themed hands-on activities that will help you explore the art, history, or nature of Green-Wood! Each gathering will offer something different, but whether you’re designing a monument, investigating a nature discovery table, or crafting a masterpiece, the goal remains the same: to spark curiosity and help families connect with each other and the Cemetery. Price: Free Register The Green-House (see details below) For this Last Saturdays’ art project, we will create paint pigment using flowers harvested from Jean Shin’s installation, Offering. These pigments will be used to create our own paintings inspired by the colors of the flowers in bloom. Participation is free, registration is recommended so we can get a rough headcount. Know Before You Go: Tickets: No registration required. Drop in and join us. Seating and activities are first come, first served. All ages, recommended for 5+ and caregivers. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Where To Go: This program takes place at the Green-House (750 Fifth Avenue), near the Main Entrance on Fifth Avenue and 25th Street.
