Flutist Adam W. Sadberry and Steinway Artist Dr. Artina McCain present Musical Journalism: Continuing a Legacy through the Flute, a Martin Luther King Jr. Day program exploring music, history and the power of storytelling. Featuring music by African American composers, the program draws inspiration from Sadberry’s grandfather, pioneering Civil Rights journalist L. Alex Wilson, whose reporting included the Emmett Till murder trial, the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the integration of Little Rock Central High School. The performance will be followed by a community conversation, extending an afternoon devoted to legacy, expression and the stories we carry forward. Monday, January 18, 2027 at 3:00 PM Tickets: $30; $15 students St. John’s Episcopal Church 1670 Route 25A, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724 Free parking. Accessible parking and wheelchair entrances available.
