Each week we will develop your group and individual skills through scene work and exercises course is an introduction to long-form improvisation, based on the style developed by The iO Theater and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. We will start with a focus on the fundamentals - agreement, listening, and support - as well as the thing that should come across in every scene: the FUN! We will also get into technical improv skills like establishing the reality of the scene, connecting with your scene partner, and playing with emotion ends in a graduation show : Enter the main entrance to Urban Community School on W. 47th Street, south of Lorain Ave. Follow the driveway to the main oval parking lot in front of the red tower. You can park in any space marked with a green square. You can then follow the sidewalk to Lorain Ave. You will see Imposters directly across Lorain Ave. from the school plans available. If you cannot afford the class we have limited work-study spots and financial aid available.
