Saturday, August 29 1:00PM The American Revolution was a war of upheaval for many Indigenous communities across the Colonial world. These communities, however, were not passive observers of this conflict. In many cases, Indigenous communities were active participants, with some siding with the British and others with the Colonists. Some Indigenous soldiers were even the first to fall in the opening stages of the war. Join Domingo Franciamore, educator at the Institute for American Indian Studies, to learn about some of the Indigenous soldiers and sailors of Connecticut from the opening stages at Bunker Hill to the world turned upside down at Yorktown. Space is limited and pre-registration is appreciated. Please visit our website to register online. Questions? Please email [email protected] or call (860) 868-0518. Price of participation: $20 for Non-Members, $10 for IAIS Members. Price of Participation Questions? $20 for Non-Members, $10 for IAIS Members
