Join J-PAL North America for the release of our Homelessness Evaluation Resource Hub, a free online repository of essential content for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners looking to leverage evidence to inform their approach to homelessness prevention and reduction. Homelessness represents both a cause and a consequence of poverty and inequality. Rigorous evidence is critical in identifying effective solutions to eliminating homelessness, but rising constraints on time, funds, and other resources can create difficult barriers to accessing high quality evidence. The Homelessness Evaluation Resource Hub aims to increase access to evidence-informed paths to housing stability by providing tools for sector leaders to evaluate the impact of their programs, expand the evidence base on what works to reduce homelessness, and leverage existing research to inform programs and decision-making. In this one-hour webinar, J-PAL North America staff and the Hub's Scientific Advisor David Phillips (Director of Research at the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) at Notre Dame and Research Professor of Economics at University of Notre Dame) will: We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the launch of the Hub and learn how these resources might apply to your work! Please contact Laina Sonterblum with any questions.
