The next application cycle for MIT's Master of Applied Science in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy (DEDP) is fast approaching. As the first master's degree to be offered by MIT's Department of Economics, the DEDP master's program exists to empower a cadre of diverse, exceptional individuals with the technical skills to tackle poverty alleviation using evidence-based approaches. The program employs a unique approach to admissions. Rather than traditional prerequisites, all students must first successfully complete the online MITx DEDP MicroMasters credential by passing five online courses offered on MIT Learn. Admitted students then complete an intensive eight-month residential program at MIT. Interested in learning more? Join us for a webinar on Wednesday, October 21, at 9:00 AM ET, where Professor Sara Ellison, the DEDP program team, and a DEDP program alum will answer your questions about the application process, admissions, coursework, and the capstone. Can't attend the live webinar? Register anyway! A recorded version of this event will be sent to all registrants.
