JAS/Dance Aspen Presents OKAN w/DanceAspen Dancers – Supper Club

LISTEN TO OKAN OKAN is a two-time JUNO Award-winning Afro-Cuban duo led by GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-nominated songwriters Elizabeth Rodriguez and Magdelys Savigne. Taking their name from the word for “heart” in the Afro-Cuban religion of Santería, OKAN fuses deep Afro-Cuban roots with jazz, folk, global rhythms, and an evolving electronic sound that draws from Afro-house and contemporary Latin music. Known for their powerful musicianship and dynamic live performances, OKAN has been featured on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk, toured with Rodrigo y Gabriela, and performed at the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center. The duo has also performed and collaborated with artists including Bomba Estéreo, Lido Pimienta, Daymé Arocena, Zapapaya, and KARABA. OKAN will release their fourth studio album, IFE ARA, on Lulaworld Records in November 2026.
