Beatmaking 101 July 6-9 12-2 pm Daily @ Paul JAS Center Beginner/intermediate middle and high school students learn the process of creating digital music beats from square one. Topics include introducing DAW software, creating DAW sessions and tracks, adding instruments to sessions, using sample looks, programming instrument parts, instrument arrangement, adding effects to instruments, basic song structure, basic audio recording, genre exploration and experimentation.
