Effective Nonprofit Leadership Workshop Effective Nonprofit Leadership a dynamic workshop designed for individuals interested in serving on a Nonprofit Board, sitting Board members, and nonprofit Executive Directors and Staff is being offered by the Leadership Academy for Nonprofit Organizations on December 15th at the JFK Museum from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The focus is to increase the awareness and knowledge necessary to be an effective, contributing Board member in order to increase the organization’s effectiveness, sustainability and value to stakeholders and the community. Key topics will include: Governance Board member roles and responsibilities Legal requirements Effective board meetings and Robert’s Rules of Order Committee structures Workplace role separation The program will include short lectures and discussions along with role-playing scenarios.
