The Kohala Center invites you and your ʻohana to join us as we celebrate Hāloa! Build pilina, taste creative dishes using kalo, share recipes, ho‘okanikapila, and talk story with friends old and new. Stop by our office in Waimea for a morning of celebration! Enjoy tasty bites of food prepared from kalo grown and harvested at TKC’s Nāmoku farm in Honokaʻa. Get to know TKC, our staff, and our work throughout North Hawaiʻi. Launa with other members of the Waimea community and get to know your neighbors. Located at The Kohala Center's main office, behind High Country Traders across from Parker Square. This event is supported by the Richard Smart Fund of the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation. Register for the event. We look forward to seeing you!
