The famous Lexington County Peach Festival returns to Gilbert on July 4, 2026, for a full day of small-town celebration, community pride, and sweet summer tradition. Hosted by the Gilbert Community Club, this free, family-friendly festival honors Independence Day and Lexington County’s agricultural roots — with the peach taking center stage. Each year, thousands travel to “Gilbert, America” for one of the Midlands’ most beloved Fourth of July traditions. The day begins with the Peach Parade at 9:30 AM, winding through town before festival activities continue throughout Gilbert Community Park. Guests can enjoy fresh peach treats, local craft vendors, food trucks, an antique car show, live music, and a fireworks show to close out the evening. Admission is free. Festival-coordinated parking is available for $5 per vehicle, with 100% of parking proceeds benefiting local student groups from Gilbert area schools who organize and staff the lots.
