Judge David Davis led an important and fascinating life. Who else can boast that they had a pillow fight with Abraham Lincoln, masterminded his dark horse 1860 presidential nomination, sat on the U.S. Supreme Court and served as president pro tempore of the Senate? Retired Illinois judge Ray McKoski joins us remotely with a presentation telling the story of Lincoln’s devoted friend and most effective political supporter. Books will be available for sale and signing at the event.
