On October 6, 1977, a long and bloody mob war ended in Cleveland when Irish gangster Daniel J. “Danny” Greene’s life ended in a horrific car bombing outside a medical building in Lyndhurst. The Cleveland Mafia celebrated the victory, but it would be the last victory the Cleveland Mafia would ever celebrate. A longtime crime writer and author of six books, Allan R. May recounts the historic downfall of the Cleveland Chapter of La Cosa Nostra.
