Field Trip Preview Day for Educators

Teachers – did you know that the Land Trust of North Alabama offers a variety of field trip experiences that align to your curriculum?  Our 2026-2027 Field Trip Preview Days are the perfect opportunity for you to learn about what we have for you and your students this school year.   Join us at Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve to take a hike in your students’ shoes with our hands-on activities, leave with resources to help support conservation education in your curriculum, and learn about the immense and fascinating biodiversity right here in Alabama.  Wednesday, July 22 is designed for an audience of elementary and middle school educators; Thursday, July 23 is for our high school teachers.  Whether for a class or club, there are LTNA field trip opportunities that will spark your students’ curiosity and appreciation for nature, while also equipping them with real-world skills and practical knowledge.   Questions?  Elementary and middle school educators can contact Maria Ingram,… View Source
