Art, Landscape & Belonging with Geovanni Barrios

Join artist and art historian Geovanni Barrios for a free (but please register), immersive evening of poetry, film, music, and collective artmaking at the Rally Hotel. Barrios brings the expansive marshes of the Everglades into conversation with Colorado’s mountain landscape, inviting guests to consider the places that have shaped their own sense of belonging. Throughout the evening, guests will be invited to create colorful paper forms inspired by landscapes that hold meaning for them. Each individual piece will become part of a larger collective collage, which Barrios will assemble into a new work of art following the event. Of Marsh & Mountain is an evening about landscape, belonging and the many ways we find a sense of freedom in the places we call our own.
