About this event
One of 37 upcoming events at LoDo District, and 3,808 across Denver.
The Denver skyline will come alive with the third annual Mile High Drone Shows. For 41 magical nights, 600 drones will soar into the sky, creating holiday-themed animations. The performances feature a dozen or more festive animations. From Santa and his reindeer to iconic Denver landmarks like the Mile High Tree and Denver Union Station, each night will bring a new visual experience to life. Some special performances will feature animations dedicated to Denver’s sports teams. Top spots to watch the 10- to 15-minute spectacles: Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus is the closest spot to the action and great for families who want to make a night of wandering the Christkindlmarket, riding the carousel, and snacking on festive treats. Entry is free and restrooms are readily available. Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex — open-air public vantage, one of the top recommendation spots. 54thirty Rooftop at the Le Méridien Denver Downtown (entrance fee required) — rooftop bar with a stellar view and holiday ambiance. Peaks Lounge at Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center — cozy, indoor option with panoramic vistas. Terrace at Denver Art Museum’s Lanny & Sharon Martin Building (museum admission fee required) — museum stays open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, offering great line-of-sight.
