Littleton Youth Ballet presents The Nutcracker

This Christmas, treat yourself to a magical evening with Clara and the Nutcracker as Littleton Youth Ballet and Littleton Ballet Academy cast a spell over you and your entire family with its captivating production of The Nutcracker. Featuring a cast of over 160 children, pre-professional dancers, and guest artists, this delightful ballet will transport you to a simpler time and an enchanting place, where snowflakes dance, nutcrackers turn into princes, and wishes really do come true. The performances feature full backdrops, including a growing Christmas tree, professionally created sets and props, and beautifully handcrafted costumes. The performance is family-friendly and is two hours with the intermission. The Nutcracker is a perfect way to introduce your child to the arts and celebrate the holiday season. Littleton Youth Ballet is Littleton’s only non-profit youth ballet company. They provide our 86 young dancers (ages 8 to 18) with a caring and respectful environment that offers each dancer quality performance experiences, enabling them to reach their fullest potential, not only as dancers but in all areas of life. They strive to encourage and promote dance with dynamic, full-length productions and diverse outreach programs throughout the Denver area. All of their dancers are students at Littleton Ballet Academy. Many of their upper-level students have won awards and scholarships in ballet competitions and have been accepted and/or received scholarships and stipends to nationally recognized ballet schools across the nation. Due to Fire Code and LTAC safety policies, every person attending a performance must have a ticket, including children sitting on laps and infants.
