Pointed Pen for Beginners by Pens & Petals

In this workshop you will be introduced to the art of pointed pen calligraphy using a traditional dip pen and ink. We will focus on creating basic strokes and techniques to construct modern lettiering and build confidence for continued calligraphy practice. Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction, and all calligraphy materials to keep at the end of class. Please note this is an outdoor venue, and class may be subject to change weather permitting. Please note class attendees must be 21 and over. Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, their beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on.
