Senior Sundays in September presented by Humana 2026

Along with Humana, the Louisville Zoo is excited to celebrate seniors during three Sundays in September. Any senior over the age of 60, will receive FREE admission to the Louisville Zoo on September 6, 20 and 27 at admission windows ONLY. And don’t miss Grandparents Day on September 13. As you explore the Zoo, dive into the fascinating world of our animal patriarchs and matriarchs! Participate in an interactive scavenger hunt presented by Humana, where you’ll discover how these majestic elders play a crucial role in species conservation. Participants will receive a giveaway from Humana Humana Hydration Station (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) While exploring the Zoo on Senior Sundays, guests will have the opportunity to learn about our animal grandparents and their role in species conservation. Humana will be hosting the Humana Hydration Station in the Glacier Run Classroom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dedicated to providing items to help beat the heat like free water and cooling towels.
