From publicly posted calendar Checked 3 hours ago
About this event
One of 11 upcoming events at Maier Museum of Art.
What makes you feel at home? What people, places, experiences, and values shape who you are? We’ll explore Crossing the Line: The Passport Re-Imagined, an exhibition of artists’ books about identity, belonging, and freedom of movement. Then, create a small hand-sewn book using words, images, and memories to reflect on personal identity and the meaning of home. Open to High School Students. Free, but registration is required: www.randolphcollege.edu/scienceartsaturday. Image: Roberto Benavidez, Illuminated Hybrid No. 4, 2019, paper, paperboard, glue, wire crepe paper, 12 x 10 x 5 in.
