Reading with Niki Thompson

Join us for a reading with Hypatia artist-in-residence, Niki Thompson. Free/Public Niki Thomspon is an emerging writer working on her debut novel 1999, a family saga exploring the impact of medical trauma on relationships through three braided narratives. Holding degrees in English from the University of Virginia (BA) and University of Chicago (MA), draft pages of 1999 have earned her residencies with both Hypatia-in-the-Woods here in Shelton, as well as L'Air Arts in Paris. She has worked professionally in corporate communications and nonprofit corporate partnerships, with ghostwritten work appearing in Fast Company and Inc. She publishes weekly on her Substack, Truth Told Slant.
