About this event
One of 10 upcoming events at Mary Riley Styles Public Library.
Drop by the Community Mending Circle, a welcoming place to gather to mend clothing and other textiles -- and to connect with community members! This is a non-instructional, self-guided gathering. Participants will do their own work with the help of other participants. Everyone is invited to share their experiences and expertise. Bring your own projects, meet fellow makers and menders, and enjoy having some time to chat, listen, and unplug. The Community Mending Circle will meet the first Tuesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Drop-in program; no registration necessary. Please note that the group asks that participants refrain from wearing scented products and that they not attend if feeling unwell. (Masks are welcome.) About the Circle The Community Mending Circle is a group of people interested in building community and working together in small ways to mend, make, craft, and ease our burdens.
