Medieval Saints and Sinners DeTOUR

Medieval art can often look a little off and confusing. There are a lot of images of people dying in gruesome and gory ways, freaky creatures and cats, and an assortment of dismembered body parts. Are people in heaven, hell, or just living out their best lives on earth? On this MAGsocial DeTOUR℠, we are teaming up with Anna Siebach-Larsen, Ph.D, from the Rossell Hope Robbins Library at the University of Rochester, as she answers all of our burning questions RE: people being on fire, skeletons dancing their limbs off, spooky snakes, swords, and more.
